Unfortunately, it confirms what Betty Lahat already revealed here:
Former Prison Director Betty Lahat Shatters the Lies Fed to Us regarding Terrorists, Prison Conditions for Terrorists, Humanitarian Assistance, and the Complicity of the Media and Officials in the Intensification of Terror against Jews.
And here:
The Truth behind the 5-Year Shalit Phase & Release-Exchange, Plus Who REALLY Called the Shots during That Time (You Won't Believe Who & To What Extent...)
In a tunnel previously inhabited by terrorist chieftain Sinwar, IDF forces found an Arabic note possibly written by the terrorist himself, a kind of "Notes to Self" — with the following terrorist to-do list:
To continue to increase the distribution of pictures and videos of the hostages for the psychological pressure they produce.
To do everything possible to intensify the psychological pressure against Gallant.
To continue with the strategy that Netanyahu is responsible for what happened.
To undermine the Israeli narrative that the ground operation assists in the return of the hostages.
And a sizable portion of the Israeli public also follows this list.
While I'm no supporter of the secular Prime Minister Netanyahu or the secular Defense Minister Gallant, the reasons secular Leftists oppose them derives from the self-hating dangerous ideology of the Israeli Left — an ideology they share with Hamas.
This intensifies the question asked in the above-linked previous posts:
WHO IS REALLY IN CHARGE HERE?
Why is everything going according to the Hamas playbook?
Why is such a bloodthirsty Jew-hating savage terror gang dictating public policy for Jews in Israel?
Who is allowing Hamas so much control and influence over Israeli policy and public opinion?
Those with Torah Values Have Everything They Need to Stand Strong against the Increasingly Pervasive Hamas Influence
Being a Torah Jew enables one to see through lies and accept harsh truths.
Of course, there are different levels of this. The more one internalizes Torah values, the more clarity one attains.
If you are a Jew or gentile who embraces Torah values, then you already maintain a strong mental stance amid a sea of heresy and immorality, such as the following:
- uncompromising monotheism amid an increasingly agnostic/pagan society
- opposition to same-gender marriage amid a society that considers such a stance unforgivable bigotry & oppression
- a firm belief against evolution amid a society that considers evolution a fact as obvious as 1+1
- a dedication to dignified dress & behavior in a society which venerates a "let it all hang out" style of clothing and unbridled behavior
Those are just a few examples.
And possessing a Torah-strengthened mind enables one to hold strong against the Hamas-influenced narrative, as displayed by the courageous and loving stance of the Mors, Leibmans, and others described here:
Please Meet the Mors, the Family of Gaza Hostage Eitan Avraham Mor – and One of the Only Families Willing to Stand Strong against the Manipulations of Hamas & the Erev Rav
Stop Letting Hamas Decide Policy for Jews & Eretz Yisrael!
We see calls from the Israeli Left and other misguided yet well-intentioned people to halt the current war for the sake of the hostages, under the impression that a ceasefire will better assist the release of the hostages.
Yet that too is apparently a Hamas manipulation.
Having said that, I too am against the ground operation.
But I always opposed Jewish soldiers on the ground in all the past wars.
That's because I want Jews to live.
My choice of method is carpet-bombing the enemy from above, which carries the least risk of harm to my fellow Jews.
Having said that, if there is a non-violent method which reaps results that are GOOD FOR JEWS ACCORDING TO TORAH LAW, then I'm all for it.
Our previous Gedolei HaDor did this or guided others toward non-violent yet astoundingly effective methods whenever possible.
(For examples, please see Rav Mordechai Eliyahu ztz"l Demonstrates How to Speak in Arabic and A Review of "Guardian of Jerusalem: The Life & Times of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld" & Why It Challenged Everything I Thought I Knew about the Modern History of Eretz Yisrael)
But no one with a Torah head is willing to sacrifice Jews so that terrorists can live.
Nor should we sacrifice Jews just because the media and government tries to convince us there is no other way to destroy the tunnels without boots on the ground.
(Eliyahu Yossian already punched holes in that propaganda by saying that carpet-bombing the area, then waiting a month for the terrorists to get hungry and come out of hiding would work much better than the current strategy — and with no casualties to Jewish lives. Please see here: Thought-Provoking Ideas from Eliyahu Yossian: "We are in the Middle East. And in the Middle East, you speak theology – religion.")
More than ever, we should all take stock of ourselves and the different positions pulling at us and ask ourselves:
Who is deciding what we believe? Is it Hamas — or the Torah?
