He responded by reminding me of the Gazan rockets shot at Israel — one of which "happened" to strike their own hospital.
Further increasing the damage and loss of life, the hospital stood on a terrorist weapons cache, which increased the intensity of the explosion.
In addition to legitimate hospital patients, the hospital also hosted many healthy Gazans who fled there to escape the righteous wrath of Am Yisrael.
"Hashem is fighting for us," said my husband. "With all the prayers and teshuvah going on, you don't need to be upset about our side slacking off because Hashem fights on our behalf."
In fact, a video shows the rocket soaring in the direction of Israel before suddenly flipping up, then swiveling backwards to land right on the Gazan building.
With so many in Am Yisrael reciting Tehillim 91 all over the world, we see the fulfillment of verse 8: "You will just gaze with your eyes, and you will see total retribution for the evil ones."
We just went about our holy business, watching from the side, and God caused them to strike themselves.
Details Not Fit to Print in the Mainstream Media
In August 2022, a couple hundred of the 1000 rockets shot from Gaza fell within Gaza.
Over a dozen of the 44 recorded deaths resulted from rockets fired by fellow Muslim-Arabs within Gaza.
Even in the fatalities reported as Israeli citizens, I noticed names like "Ibrahim" — definitely not a Jewish name.
Even when they don't mean to, they kill each other. Not that they care. To them, it's worth killing a fellow Muslim on the way to murder a Jew.
In contrast, the IDF always either strove to avoid striking schools and hospitals sitting on weapons munitions meant to murder Jews.
One famous recording of a conversation between the IDF and a Gazan hospital representative demonstrated how many precautions the IDF took to ensure not one person remained in the hospital before they bombed it (in an effort destroy the vast storage of weapons hidden beneath).
And now, the Gazan terrorists just did it themselves.
Furthermore, while the world insists on differentiating between Gazan terrorists and "civilian" Gazans, the Gazans themselves often don't make the same differentiation.
And while it's true many Gazans resent the Hamas leadership, with many selfie-videos showing young male Gazans skipping out on boats heading to Europe for better lives, resentment of Hamas doesn't imply an embrace of Noachide values.
They simply envy the Hamasniks in charge who enjoy higher materialistic lifestyles, better opportunities, and better connections to reach those opportunities.
They don't like how the Hamas government impacts the lives of the populace.
Yet we know Gazan "civilians" participated in their brethren's atrocities, whether active participation in the slaughter and horror or taking selfies of themselves on the Israeli side of the border while their buddies terrorized the Jews.
What's more, Gazan "civilians" also participated in the mass abductions, with some "civilian" families now keeping captives in their homes in Gaza.
Anyway, the point is: They're bombing themselves now.
Every day in the powerful Shemoneh Esrei Amidah prayer, we implore Hashem to "rivah riveinu — fight our fight."
And that's exactly what He's doing.
May we please see the safe return of all captives and the Geula b'rachamim.

Note: I don't deny the existence of morally decent people within the multitudes of Gaza.
But if you tell me a Yisrael needs to die (or even risk dying) so a Yishmael can live in safety, my answer is NO.
