It was a horrific slam in the face to those who previously embraced the Muslim-Arabs in Gaza.
And from within that terrible shock and trauma came spiritual growth.
Many were jolted awake from their fantasy-filled Leftist slumber.
The terror-filled slaughter ripped the glittering blinders off their eyes & clawed through their dreams of a secular humanist utopia, leaving them exposed to a stark yet real world — a world which introduced them to the cruelest side of human nature, but also includes miracles and a meaningful authentic religious world.
They also finally saw the beauty in their fellow Jews, the same Jews they previously thought so ugly.
They Went Back to Playing Their Same Tunes, But Their Usual Dancers are No Longer Dancing
After all, that's what always happened in the past.
Yet aside from a handful of media personalities, the Leftist collaborators no longer exist.
And what would have me laughing heartily (if I wasn't so sickened) is how the world hasn't yet seemed to notice that they lost the majority of their Israeli minions.
Does the mainstream media realize the massive shift that occurred?
It seems not.
Ego tends to do that to a person.
Yet the shift happened.
And what follows is merely one example of one Jew who made that sharp transition.
"Meir Adoni died."
https://www.hidabroot.org/article/1188537 (Hebrew only, sorry!)
For 30 years, Meir traveled throughout Israel and around the world, including our Muslim-Arab neighbor, Jordan, in his peaceful embrace of others. All that time, he supported the demands of Gazan Arabs.
He describes the man he once was, followed by his newfound realization:
I dreamed delusional dreams of a lovely, quiet world full of goodness and love — a world that does not exist for a Jew and an Israeli.
On October 7 at 6:30 in the morning, Meir Adoni died.
A minute later, another Meir was born.
A Meir who claps al cheit.*
A Meir who is ashamed that he was part of the delusion of the delusional people of the Left who don't understand that we are surrounded by Islamic extremist monsters who have no interest in peace and normalcy — but only wish to burn us alive!
He didn't "change his mind" or "come to a new realization."
That entire Leftist persona died.
Has the rest of the world yet noticed that Meir Adoni and many like him were also "destroyed" in the Gazan Slaughter?
(I experienced something similar and, like Meir Adoni, ultimately found it liberating. I think a lot of people woke up according to their individual level. Here's my story: nobody-really-cares-a-personal-journey-of-liberation.html)
Most of the world does no longer cares about what happened.
But Meir Adoni does.
And many, many others like him care too.
It enables mutual connection within Am Yisrael.
Previously, we couldn't connect to him no matter how much we reached out to those like him because he could not connect to us.
But now that conduit is open and his beautiful teshuvah of admitting his sin, sincere apology, and taking upon himself to be completely different in the future — it's exactly the right response.
